We use Giclée printing on an artist grade canvas for all of our pet portraits. Giclée is a printing process that uses very high-end bubble jet technology to reproduce fine art graphics. The end result means your pet's digital portrait looks like a paintingthat took months to create. The archival quality of these prints assures rich color and longevity. Giclée prints will last a lifetime.

ABOUT ROLLED CANVAS

You can save money when ordering by choosing to order your print rolled. It will cost less to ship a rolled canvas print, however you will have to pay to have the canvas stretched later on and be aware that you may have to pay more for 1.5" stretcher bars. When you order your print rolled we do leave a full 3 inches for your local framer to work with later. Ordering "rolled" is a good option if you already have a framer you know and trust. If shipping outside the U.S. I will always ship rolled to keep the cost down for you.

ABOUT STRETCHED CANVAS

You will receive your pet's portrait already stretched on the stretching bars and ready to hang, so your pet’s portrait color wraps all the way around the edges of the 1.5 inch stretcher bars. Other websites only offer 3/4" stretcher bars and charge extra for 1.5", but Pampered Pet Art offer this service as standard. This is called a “gallery” wrap and gives the artwork the same look that you would see in a museum.

SHIPPING COSTS

We ship using both Fedex ground and USPS, priority. Larger stretched canvas prints are almost always shipped via FedEx, while smaller prints and rolled prints are often sent via the US Post. For shipping outside the U.S. please contact me directly.

STRETCHED CANVAS SHIPPING

Stretched canvas prints are wrapped safely in bubble wrap and sent in large boxes and the costs to ship those are listed in the Shipping Costs table above.
